O my divine Savior, transform me into
Thyself
May my hands be the hands of Jesus. May
my tongue be the tongue of Jesus. Grant
that every faculty of my body may serve
only to glorify Thee.
Above all, transform my soul and all its
powers, that my memory, my will, and my
affections may be the memory, the will,
and the affections of Jesus.
I pray Thee to destroy in me all that is not
of Thee.
Grant that I may live only in Thee and by
Thee and for Thee, and that I may truly

Christ lives in me."

St. Thomas The Apostle Church
In Service to One. In Service to All.
One out of four adult Catholic men in
Montana belongs to the Knights of
Columbus, the world's largest Catholic lay
organization with more than 1,700,000
members worldwide. Why do we belong?
Because we know we can make a
difference in our parish and in our world.

The word Catholic is the common
denominator for all knights. Catholicism
serves as the foundation for our efforts.

We support families, the very basis of
society around which all our programs and
activities revolve.

We are a fraternal organization, banded
together as brothers for the purpose of
providing for the spiritual and material
welfare of each other.

And we are united in service through our
commitment to our Church, our
community, our council, our families and
youth.

Our council at St. Thomas aims to be an
influential and important force within our
parish and our community. We are all
called to holiness and service to our
neighbors. We try to provide programs and
activities that meet the existing needs of
our parish and surrounding community.

For just as a body without spirit is dead, so
also faith without works is dead.
(James 2:26)
Take a look at what is happening to family
life. Do we communicate with one another?
Do we share? Do we take time to get
involved with each other? Are there
opportunities for improvement? What is
God's plan for us?

Today's society makes it hard to be a
family. TV takes up a lot of our time. The
hustle and bustle of rushed meals, sports,
school, work and shopping cram our days.

The family is under heavy attack. The
battle is largely over values and
commitments. To survive, families need
support. The primary support and source
of strength can be found in a growing
religious and parish life.  Knights of
Columbus can help.

Come join us as we encourage
communication and events which involve
family members within their own homes,
as well as bringing families together in
social and recreational events in our parish
community. Help us provide opportunities
for our parish youth to grow in their
commitment to Christ. Help us do good
works of love with a generous heart.

There is a great deal all of us can do to
exert a positive influence on our youth
and help build leaders for the future.
Nearly two million Knights of Columbus
throughout the world are making a
difference.
Our St. Thomas Knights of Columbus
council meets on the third Tuesday of
each month at 6:30 p.m. in the church to
pray the Rosary. We then adjourn to the
multipurpose room for our meeting.
Meetings last about an hour.

We know that everyone is very busy these
days. So we don't expect members to
attend every meeting. But we do invite
you to join our council and get involved in
at least one of our programs that
coincides with your personal interests. If
you don't get involved in our parish life,
who will?

council, contact:

our parish that are trying to make a
difference.
